Cancel a spot I paid for a friend
Open the game, find your friend on the roster, and cancel their spot from there.
Where the money goes
The timing rule is the same
More than 24 hours before kick-off, you get the amount back. Inside that window, nothing comes back — although you can still free the spot so somebody else can play.
| Situation | You get back | Where |
|---|---|---|
| You leave a game more than 24 hours before kick-off | Everything you paid | Your CSFC balance |
| You leave a game within 24 hours of kick-off | Nothing | — |
| You cancel a friend's spot more than 24 hours before kick-off | Everything you paid | Your balance — the payer's, not your friend's |
| You cancel a friend's spot within 24 hours | Nothing | — |
| An organizer added you and you never paid | Nothing was paid | — |
| CSFC cancels the game | Everything you paid | Your CSFC balance |
| You bought a credit pack | Not refundable | — |
If your friend never claimed the spot
A friend who was invited by email but never signed up still occupies the spot you paid for. Cancelling it works the same way and follows the same timing rule.
