Book a spot for a friend

You can book and pay for other people at the same time as yourself.

   Start joining the game as normal

   On the confirmation sheet there is a place to add friends.

   Say who the spots are for

   Start typing a name and CSFC suggests people you have already played with; anyone else you add by email address. The total updates as you add spots, and your own address is not accepted — you are already one of the players.

   Pay for all of them at once

   One payment covers you and everyone you added.

What your friend sees

• If they already have a CSFC account, they are added to the game straight away and appear on the roster.
• If they do not, they get an email inviting them to claim the spot. The spot is held for them in the meantime.

Errors you might hit

• "You can't pay for yourself" — remove your own email from the list.
• "You've entered the same email more than once" — a duplicate in the list.
• "Someone you added is already in this game" — they booked themselves already; put someone else in that spot, or take the spot off with the − button.
• "Add someone to every spot" — the counter is set higher than the number of addresses you have typed. Fill the blank box, or press − to buy one spot fewer.

The money stays yours

Checking in

Your friend checks themselves in at the pitch with their own phone. A spot you paid for cannot be checked in by you — if they have a problem, the organizer can mark them present by hand.
