How to join a game

Before you tap join

Every game listing shows the four things worth checking first:

• Kick-off time, in the pitch's timezone — not your phone's.
• Format — 5-a-side, 7-a-side or full pitch.
• Price per spot, which is the whole price.
• Spots left, and how many players are needed for the game to be confirmed.

Booking

   Tap Join

   A confirmation screen opens with a payment summary. Nothing is charged yet.

   Read the payment summary

   It shows the event price, how much comes off your balance, and how much (if anything) goes on your card.

3. 3

   Confirm

   If your balance covers the whole price, you're in immediately. Otherwise you're taken to card checkout for the remainder.

How balance and card are combined

If you have money on your CSFC balance, it is always used first. Whatever is left goes on your card.

Bringing friends

You can book and pay for other people at the same time. Add their email addresses on the confirmation screen and the total updates for the extra spots.

• If they already have a CSFC account, they're added to the game straight away.
• If they don't, they get an email inviting them to claim the spot.
• Either way you paid, so any refund comes back to you — see the refund policy.

After you're in

You get a confirmation email with the pitch and kick-off time, the game chat opens, and a reminder lands two hours before kick-off. On the day, you check in with the QR code at the pitch.
