How to check in at the pitch
At the pitch, the organizer opens a QR code on their phone. Point your camera at it and you're checked in.
Find the organizer
They'll have the check-in screen open with a QR code on it.
Scan it with your phone camera
No need to open the CSFC app first — the link opens it for you, or falls back to the browser if you don't have it installed.
Done
You'll see a confirmation, and the organizer's roster ticks you off.
Why the code keeps changing
The QR redraws every 30 seconds. That is deliberate: it means a screenshot forwarded to someone who isn't at the pitch stops working almost immediately.
There is a short grace period, so a code you scanned a couple of minutes ago still works — enough to log in first if you need to — but not much longer.
When check-in opens and closes
- Opens 2 hours before kick-off. Earlier than that and you'll see "check-in isn't open yet".
- Closes 6 hours after kick-off, after which the game is closed.
Error messages, and what to do
If you paid for a friend
A spot you paid for belongs to the person playing it, and they check in themselves. If they can't, the organizer can mark them present manually from the roster.
No QR, no problem
If scanning fails for any reason, the organizer can tick you off the roster by hand. Check-in is a convenience, not a gate — nobody is turned away because a camera wouldn't focus.
