How CSFC works

Getting on the pitch takes four steps. None of them involves organising anything.

  1. Find a field

Pick your city and browse the football pitches near you. Each one shows its formats, surface and facilities — parking, public transport, whether it's covered, whether there are showers.

  2. Browse matches

Open a pitch, or go straight to the games list, and see what's coming up: kick-off time, price, format, how many spots are left, and who has already joined.

  3. Book your spot

Tap join. You'll see the exact total before you confirm, including anything coming off your balance. Your spot is held while you pay.

  4. Play and connect

Turn up, check in with the QR code on the organizer's phone, and play. Teams are mixed on the day.

Confirmed is not the same as full

This trips people up more than anything else.

  • Confirmed means enough players have joined for the game to go ahead.
  • Full means there are no spots left.

A game does not need to be full to be played. If it is confirmed but not full, it goes ahead — sometimes in a slightly smaller format than advertised.

Times are in the pitch's timezone

Every kick-off is shown in the timezone of the pitch, not your phone's. If you're booking from another country, the time you see is the time to be there.

After you book

  • The game appears under your games, and you get a confirmation email.
  • A game chat opens, so you can talk to the other players.
  • You get a reminder two hours before kick-off.
  • If you need to pull out, you can — see the refund policy for what comes back and when.
