What to wear and bring
Short version: turn up in whatever you play football in. We sort out the rest.
Bibs
We bring them. You do not need to think about the colour of your shirt, and you do not need to bring a spare — the organizer hands out bibs when the teams are picked.
Boots
Whatever is comfortable for you, with one exception.
If you are buying your first pair and want a default that works on most of our pitches, AG or TF is the safe answer. But do not buy anything for your first game: trainers are fine while you work out whether this is for you.
Shin pads
Not required, and not provided. Plenty of players wear them, plenty do not. It is a five-a-side game between strangers who mostly want to keep their week intact, so it is your call.
What else to bring
- Water. Very few pitches sell it, and none of them promise to.
- A towel, if you are showering afterwards — check the pitch page first, not every venue has showers.
See parking, showers and facilities for what is actually at your pitch.
