Can I cancel a game I'm organising?

You cannot cancel a game yourself, and that is on purpose. There is no cancel button in the organizer tools, and we are not planning to add one.

Why not

Cancelling is not one action. It refunds every player who paid, releases the pitch booking, and sends notifications to people who have already arranged their evening around it. Money leaves the system on the strength of one tap.

That is a decision we want a second pair of eyes on — so it sits with the CSFC team, not in a button on a phone at the side of a pitch.

What to do instead

Message us and say which game and why. We will cancel it and everyone booked is refunded to their CSFC balance automatically, with an email explaining what happened.

A game that is short of players

A game below its minimum is not automatically cancelled, and it is usually not worth cancelling. See what happens if CSFC cancels a game — the minimum shown on the game page tells you where it stands, it does not decide anything by itself.
