CSFC cancelled my game — what now?

Sometimes a game does not go ahead. You do not need to do anything about the money.

What you get back

You also get an email confirming the cancellation and the amount returned (with the organiser's reason, when they wrote one). If a friend paid for your spot, the refund goes to them; you still get an email that the game is off. That email arrives whether or not you have unsubscribed from marketing mail, because it is about money and your plans.

Why a game gets cancelled

• Too few players. Every game has a minimum, shown on the game itself when it has not been reached yet — "4 more players needed to play". Below that number we would rather call the game off than have six people turn up for an 11-a-side.
• The pitch becomes unusable — a problem at the venue, or the pitch is double-booked by the operator.

The cancellation email links straight to the games list, so you can rebook in a tap. Your refunded balance covers it.
