CSFC cancelled my game — what now?

Sometimes a game does not go ahead. You do not need to do anything about the money.

What you get back

You also get an email confirming the cancellation, the reason, and the amount returned. That email arrives whether or not you have unsubscribed from marketing mail, because it is about your money.

Why a game gets cancelled

• Too few players. If a game is looking very short close to kick-off, we would rather call it off than have six people turn up for an 11-a-side.
• The pitch becomes unusable — a problem at the venue, or the pitch is double-booked by the operator.

Cancelling is a decision the CSFC team takes; there is no automatic threshold that cancels a game on its own.

Finding another game

The cancellation email lists upcoming games at the same pitch, so you can rebook in a tap. Your refunded balance covers it.
